I am an iOS Engineer building dreams, one app at a time.

Welcome to my brag page.

About Me

I am a software developer specializing in iOS mobile development. I have a passion for the intersection of technology and accessibility. I believe there is a lot of room in technology for more universal design. I am currently working as the after hours subject matter expert with the DevMountain iOS cohorts as well as a part time role as a technical QA for Uni Industries. I work remotely out of the USA.

A few of my technical skills involve the following:
  • Design Patterns: MVC, MVVM
  • Frameworks/Libraries: UIKit, CoreData, Firebase, In-House UI Packages, a variety of SDKs, URLSession
  • Languages: Swift
  • Other: Git/Github, Charles Proxy, Jira

Experience

Technical Quality Assurance Supervisor - Uni Industries
November 2023 - Current
Uni Industries is a stealth startup that’s developing an AI-powered work management platform for Mac. The company has built a passionate team and is creating an amazing product. I built this role from the ground up, performing preliminary debugging, creating user stories, and manually testing builds as a valued consultant.
Instructor, iOS Subject Matter Expert - DevMountain
Jul 2023 - Current
I mentor budding developers who are brave enough to take on the iOS specialization portion of the DevMountain bootcamp. To keep things fresh and relevant to such a fast-growing industry, I’ve revamped and continue to evolve large portions of the curriculum.
iOS Developer - Charter Communications
Feb 2023 - Aug 2023
At Charter I grew from working on multiple apps in the same company. Occasionally brushing across the tvOS app, I mainly spent my time in Spectrum News and Spectrum SportsNet. This is where my passion for Accessibility and Universal Design had the opportunity to flourish. I grew skills in custom dynamic fonts and VoiceOver.
Apprentice iOS Developer - Big Nerd Ranch
Jul 2022 - Jan 2023
In my time here as an apprentice the foundations of working on a team while reinforcing the foundations of Swift. I worked as the shadow to many outstanding developers. I developed on MyFittnessPal focusing on the rebanding, which tickled my itch to learn a lot of storyboards and programmatic UI.
